Eight of them cost you the check
A table, a chart, a picture, a QR code, a running header or footer, a watermark, a form to fill in. They render, and screening software reads them badly. Add one and your document stops saying Parse verified and starts saying Not parse-checked, because that badge is a claim about your file, not about our test suite.

Twenty-eight ways to order a life, and seventeen voices to set it in. Every one of them renders the same details and passes the same parse test, so the choice is only ever about what suits you.
All 103 are yours while we are in beta. The 91 marked Pro become part of a paid plan later, and we will say so before that happens. Every design renders the same details as every other and passes the same parse test, so nothing about the choice is a compromise on whether your CV can be read.
What you cannot check on your own.
Your CV probably parses fine. The problem is that there is no way to find out before you send it, and the ways it fails are invisible in the document you are looking at.
- You send the file and find out nothing. No reply reads the same as a mangled one.
- A two-column layout looks right to you and arrives as one scrambled paragraph.
- A tool sharpens a line by adding a number nobody gave it, and you defend it at the interview.
- Rewriting the same CV for every advert, by hand, at eleven at night.

The questions that actually stop people. Anything still unclear is worth an email.
What happens to my CV?
It is read, corrected by you, and rendered back. Your phone number and street address are stripped before any model sees the text. Without an account nothing is stored at all, so closing the tab is the end of it. With one, it is kept until you delete it or ninety days pass since your last visit, whichever comes first.
Can the employer tell I used this?
There is nothing to tell. What you download is your own CV, in a layout that parses cleanly, with wording you accepted line by line. We never write a claim into it, and the code will not let us.
Do I have to pay?
No, and during beta there is nothing to pay for. Everything marked Pro is included: the larger model, all 103 designs, your own typefaces and colours, and CVs remembered between visits. Those become a paid plan later and we will say so before that happens. 12 designs and the model on our own hardware stay free afterwards.
What does "a CV that screening software can read" mean?
Employers run your file through software that turns it back into fields before a person sees it. We do the same thing to what we produce, with an independent parser, and check every field came back in the right order. A design that loses one does not ship.
What can you read?
PDF, Word (.doc and .docx), plain text and Markdown. If the file is a scan or a photo of a printout we read it with OCR and tell you it was a scan, because that is when what we read is worth double-checking.

Every layout is checked by reading the PDF back, whichever column you are in. The paid half buys the bigger catalogue and a larger model, never a more accurate one.
